Thrift Stores

A little less than five minutes away by car is Lakewood Shopping Centre, which includes Thrift World, Faith Thrift, and the Duke Surplus Store. Also right before approaching Lakewood Shopping Centre, on the right (if driving from East) is Pennies for Change. Pennies for Change closes earlier than the stores at Lakewood, but other than that, the stores close at 7pm. There's also a Salvation Army and Goodwill somewhere in Durham, but the stores at Lakewood are the closest to East.
